About Dr. Nance
Robert S. Nance, DDS, MS, PA, brings more than 20 years of experience in general dentistry and endodontics to his practice, serving patients at his two offices, in Statesville and Hickory, North Carolina.
As an oral health specialist, Dr. Nance focuses on providing his clients with friendly, patient-centered care, using the highest standards of treatment and state-of-the-art technologies. It’s this commitment to a comfortable, pain-free environment that keeps people coming back to this office time and time again.
Dr. Nance holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Arkansas Tech University and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s College of Dentistry in Memphis. He also completed a three-year endodontic certification from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Dr. Nance entered private practice in 1999. Since then, he’s established a reputation for offering quick, convenient treatments and for having a compassionate chairside manner. His extensive knowledge of endodontic treatments and diagnostic imaging, particularly Tuned Aperture Computed Tomography (TACT), enables Dr. Nance to pinpoint his patients’ underlying problems and quickly address them.
Outside of his in-office responsibilities, Dr. Nance holds membership in a number of professional organizations, including the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, as well as the Iredell Dental Society and the Western Piedmont Dental Society. He welcomes any man, woman, or family seeking comprehensive endodontic care.
