Dr. Nance and his team made my whole root canal experience the best one it could be. I had never had a root canal before and had my reservations about the entire process. It was overwhelming to me, but during my consult with Dr. Nance, he answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable about the whole procedure. He explained everything so thoroughly and even made me laugh. I never thought I’d be coming out of a root canal consultation in such a good mood and relaxed. During my procedure he explained everything he was doing and checked on me throughout. It was painless and quick. It was easier than a filling! I’m thankful he and his team were the ones to perform this procedure and I’d definitely go back if I ever needed future dental work. Please consider him for all of your dental procedural needs!

I was running late and lost in Hickory! The office staff was very helpful and patient with me as I navigated poorly around the streets. An office member even went out into the parking lot to motion me into the correct building.
This was how my visit began, I was greeted at the door with comfort and a bottled water, since I was panicking from being late and lost.
The dental service was a success with competence from the Endodontist and Assistant.
Having a root canal can be both painful and scary. I had a pain-free experience and was put at ease with their confidence in the procedure.

This was my first Root Canal and the process procedure went really well.
I was SCARED to death when I walked into Doctor Nance office.
As a senior citizen my only regret is not meeting Dr. Nance earlier in life. He really does a great job making you feel at ease and has an authentic interest getting to know you at the same time providing excellent Professionalism health care explaining things in a way you can understand.
Dr Robert Scott Nance his people skills are excellent! I wish he could also be my family physician my orthopedic doctor my dentist. Throughout my life I’ve never met any doctor so empathetic caring compassionate encouraging relieving your anxieties. Usually doctors like Dr. Nance are are at the University’s professors teaching training new students.
In the future of course my hope is I never need another Root Canal but I want to make this perfectly clear. Even if I live on the other side of the country or living on the other side of the continent one thing is for sure if if if I ever need to have another Root Canal it will only be Robert Scott Nance who does it.

I felt very comfortable with no pain.
Dr. Nance and assistant made the experience fun! A root canal fun! I know, hard to believe. Very professional from beginning to the end. I highly recommend Dr. Nance!

Absolutely the BEST staff. I was incredibly anxious going in for my procedure as I had had a bad experience prior (not at this office) and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

The staff and service were exceptional! Dr Nance and assisting staff made the (root canal) procedure pain free and as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend this practice and would use them again in the future.

The staff is great and make sure you are very comfortable! Dr Nance is very nice and is very professional! He enforms you of everything he is doing! They make sure you are not in pain!

Excellent experience. Dr. Nance has an awesome personality as well as his entire staff. I felt barely anything during my Rootcanal and had a blast listening to Dr Nance and his conversations with his assistant. GREAT EXPERIENCE. If you need a root canal, go see this man

I just finished up my root canal and what a really good experience. Dr. Nance and his staff made every effort to make sure the experience was painless. It definitely was painless except for a slight discomfort of the numbing injection which is not uncommon but it only lasted several seconds. I had to go twice and both times were very pleasant. I finished up the root canal on a Tuesday and was able to get a permanent filling on Thursday from my regular dentist. No numbing was needed for the permanent filling which was completed in a short amount of time with NO pain. I can't think of anything that would cause me not to go back if another root canal was needed. THANK YOU, Dr. Nance, assistants, and office personnel! Nice job!

This was the best experience at a dentist office I have ever had. I was a little nervous about the procedure for two weeks before hand but once I got in the office everything went smooth painless very happy with their service good people. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This was my first root canal procedure and I was extremely nervous and anxious. Dr. Nance and his entire staff were friendly and professional and immediately put me at ease. Dr. Nance took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I was comfortable and experienced no pain during the procedure! Great experience and I highly recommend!

Experience was wonderful from start to finish. I was surprised at the updated technology utilized. Dr Nance is friendly and down to earth. The staff was friendly and efficient.The experience was completely painless.

I can't thank Dr. Nance and his entire office for the wonderful care I received today! What is so impressive is that Dr. Nance had done a root canal on another tooth 13 years ago and it was just like I remembered it! For 13 years I had recommended him to everyone I knew that needed a root canal because it was just like getting a filling. He makes it that simple. Don't let the name "root canal" scare you and don't You Tube any of it! ha ha I was in and out of there in 45 minutes! From the moment you step in the office, Anita greets you with a warm smile! The office is extremely clean and inviting! Dr. Nance was so personable and in a great mood at 6:45 a.m. and put any concerns to rest. His assistant, Faith was so warm and friendly, I knew once again I was in great hands! Dr. Nance explained everything that he was doing and I did not feel any pain whatsoever! I enjoyed my entire experience! (and this truly comes from the biggest chicken EVER)! It was so nice to see in an ever changing world, that 13 years later, Dr. Nance and his friendly staff had not! Thank you again for making this "scary" sounding procedure, so simple!

Dr. Nance and his staff are absolutely wonderful. My diagnosis and treatment were fully explained to me. Very very professional and clean atmosphere. With my past experiences I would put Dr. Nance on the top of the list as being the best in his field of expertise in my area. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of quality service and customer service.
